Re:DESTINY has the story revolving around the Onmyoji world in the Heian period. You, as a wanderer Onmyoji, were killed by accident and then possessed by the Vermillion Bird. With the power of the mythical creature, you were reincarnated and found many burned dead bodies around. At the same time, you met Himiko, a tengu, and Lady Toko, who was the vessel to seal Orochi – The great malevolent Serpent Demon. Together with them, you went on the journey to find Yasuna, the master of Himiko, to solve the issue of each member. My only major problem with this game is the true ending isn’t on steam and locked behind a paywall. The true ending, Case West, is not available on Steam, and it’s a DLC. Those are two major sad points. Although I still recommend it, if you like to see the real endings, one, get ending A, which is the canon ending even though S gives you the extra mode, and watch it on youtube, or get your hands on a 360 version with the DLC. This game plays similarly to the first DR no sprint and the more movement skills and trick are locked behind progression and books either than that the running and jumping has been smoothed out and is less clunky. If speed is what you want them i suggest getting out a skate board or using another vehicle (use of vehicles is limited and some cost money a lot of money) which also has durability so watch out for zombies. If the first and third Dead Rising games were the poles on a spectrum DR2 would be smack dab in the middle. Many items across the map can be picked up just like DR1 except they have two modes of attack and have more combo attacks, however some are still relegated to just one light attack or one heavy attack.
