Overview Mechanic 8230 Escape from Ilgrot:
Dive into the post-apocalyptic world of Bifrostia, populated by two mutant races as well as their robot assistants. The first Act takes place in the rusted city of Ilgrot, under the rule of an artificial intelligence. Strange things are happening there. One regular day we discover a space shuttle with a mysterious robot inside. You will have to escape the city, uncover the robot’s origins, why it is getting hunted and what is happening. polished product (no bugs) but what a fun ride. I look forward to more chapters in this saga, sooner rather than later. I like when some of the puzzles give you an ‘a ha’ moment. A little over 2 hours to complete Chapter 1. I’m wanting more! It’s a new stylized world with an illustrative atmosphere of retrofuturism, with hand painted 3D locations. The second surprise was that despite my prior assumptions, Unmechanical isn’t at all a standard physics puzzler. Instead, every puzzle is contextually placed throughout the world making them more meaningful and the world more engrossing, and avoids falling back on the same types of puzzles as each is unique to the area it resides in. None of them are particularly challenging or involved, but the way the all fit so well within the world and manage to loop back around to each other is brilliant, and shows a level or forethought by the developers that’s often missed in a lot of games.
