About Jailbreak:
Well, it’s definitely a game at least. I’m a huge fan of exploring lesser-known ‘simulator’ games like this, but at least a majority of the others look like they’ve had some amount of effort put in. Of the 20 or so minutes I played of this game I think I played to the fullest extent. The gameplay consists of nothing more than collecting prisoners, walking around in a huge mass while attacking guards and collecting items to build a bomb. After a couple of rounds it just gets repetitive, the prisoners all spawn in the same spot doing the same thing, the traps are all the same and the guards only consist of two variants so there’s little to no replay value in this game at all. For some I can understand this could be a somewhat satisfactory timekiller, but there’s much better out there. This game is actually really fun, which makes me sad that it’s not popular and doesn’t really have players… If they add crossplay with the Switch version which seems to have more, that’d be nice. If you’re lobby doesn’t fill with enough players, the remaining slots fill with CPUs which means you can play with anywhere between 1-4 players, which also helps with the player count. The bot quality is okay. They’re capable of hiding, running away, rescuing, and stunning the monster, so they make decent stand-ins for real players, but obviously aren’t as good.
