About Blood Samurai 2:
you’re a fan of castlevania symphony of the night and are still wondering why no port of it exists for PC (yeah konami were still waiting on it) then this is definitely the game you want to play. It’s done by Koji Igarashi so again if you’re a fan don’t need much explaining. the gameplay is awesome, it was serious replay value, it’s challenging yet fair, the look, art, music, graphics, character designs, everything is just top notch. This is a game that is more than highly recommended and that I’m glad exists. It’s worth whatever the price might be at the moment be it on sale or not. Very good Metroidvania. The gameplay reminded me of Symphony of the Night, Aria of Sorrow, and Dawn of Sorrow the whole way through. I didn’t even 100% any of those games, but I did for this. The Shard system is heavily reminiscent of the Soul system from AoS and DoS, and the movement felt like a more refined version of SotN. The game is extremely well designed and the models look amazing. If SOTN is one of your favourite games then I think this is a worthy successor. There’s a lot of similarities to SOTN but not so similar that it feels like it’s just the same game with different artwork .Bosses can be challenging but you should get past them after a couple of goes at them. overall I’d give it a 9/10. Definitely happy with my purchase.
