The career mode is like a structured sandbox, you have to complete orders but there’s really no goal beyond reaching the next milestone. While that’s arguably the same with this DLC, it takes those mechanics and applies a different scoring metric. The general cadence is you are tasked with maintaining one or more PCs throughout the week, handling requests and upgrading them as you see fit within a certain budget....
About Custom PC Tycoon: This game is incredible accurate compared to the real world. If your new to building pcs or plan to build one, try to build it in this game first as it really helps with getting you familiar with what you plan to build so you definitely know what and how your going to build a pc. However, I am incredibly disappointed that the sequel will be an Epic Games exclusive and wouldn’t be surprised if epic uses their influence to turn the sequel into a show of battle passes....

I like the fact that you have to stumble onto things and that the game never really pushes you in any direction. Which means that there’s a lot to do and no real rush to complete anything, you can focus on just exploration and then choose when you want to start finishing the objectives to finish the game....
